Screening measures:
The Conners’ Adult (CAARS-2) and the Connors-4 Child Rating Scales - these are online screening tools. We use the long version, which provides the most detailed information and allows us to determine whether to proceed with a full diagnostic assessment using the DIVA. Once we have completed the screening process we will send you the Connor's report.
The screening looks at the following areas: inattention/memory problems, hyperactivity/restlessness, impulsivity/emotional lability. These are measured to demonstrate the presence and severity of ADHD symptoms.
The Connors Child and CAARS ADHD online screening and report - administration fee of £70.
Full diagnostic assessment:
The DIVA 5 – Diagnostic Interview for ADHD, is a comprehensive assessment tool used for children, adolescents, and adults. This is carried out either face to face or via Zoom.
Children and Young People - we offer both a stand alone ADHD assessment and a combined autism and ADHD assessment..
Adults - we offer both a stand alone ADHD assessment, and a combined autism and ADHD assessment.
Prescribing - our child and adult ADHD assessments meet the standards set out in the NICE guidelines and are accepted by the NHS for prescribing. However, we are not a prescribing or monitoring service ourselves. Under 16's are entitled to this service under CAMHS. Adults should enquire with their GP about their local prescribing service. If you would prefer to use a private prescribing service we have two services we can refer you on to.
