Screening
The Conners’ Adult (CAARS-2) and the Connors Child Rating Scales are essential online screening tools. We employ the long version of these assessments, as it provides the most detailed information and helps us determine whether to proceed with a full diagnostic assessment using the DIVA 5 assessment.
The screening evaluates several key areas: inattention/memory problems, hyperactivity/restlessness, and impulsivity/emotional lability. These aspects are measured to demonstrate the presence and severity of ADHD symptoms.
The Connors Child Rating Scales and CAARS ADHD online screening and report come with an administration fee of £70 which is deducted from the full assessment fee if we proceed.
Full diagnostic assessment
The DIVA 5 – Diagnostic Interview for ADHD is a comprehensive assessment tool suitable for children, adolescents, and adults. This assessment can be conducted either face to face or via video.
For children and young people, we provide both a standalone ADHD assessment and a combined autism and ADHD assessment.
For Adults, we also offer both a standalone ADHD assessment and a combined autism and ADHD assessment.
Prescribing
We are currently not able to offer a medication prescription and monitoring service. ADHD medication needs to be prescribed and monitored by a specialist ADHD service. GP's will take on prescribing once the individual is stable on their medication, this may take up to three months. We can recommend the following private services: https://www.thespectrumclinic.com or https://www.adhdsurrey.co.uk/
Under 16s maybe entitled to this service under CAMHS.
